Cedar Breather
For those of you in the US Northeast, or others planning to lay shingles directly
on a solid roof deck, rather than spaced furring strips or lath, we highly recommend you
consider creating an air space between the shingles and the plywood deck.
Add CEDAR BREATHER!
Roll Vent
The original and best ridge vent on the market for proper attic ventilation!
Add ROLL VENT!
Kiln Drying
In some markets it is traditional to kiln dry, (KD) the shingles, reducing weight for shipping and handling.
It also pre-seasons the wood and reduces shrinkage after applications. Some countries, (ie. Australia and New Zealand)
require all imported wood products to be kiln dried for agricultural quarantine reasons.
Add Kiln Dry for Shingles
Pressure Impregnated CCA Preservative Treatment
CCA can almost double the life of your new roof for a fraction of the cost of the shingles.
Highly recommended in areas of high humidity and heat!
