Manufactured for exterior and interior use, Re-butted
and Re-jointed Sidewall shingles and Machine Grooved Sidewall shakes are highly
refined products well known for their beauty, character, durability and
insulating properties.
Only the best roofing shingles with uniform thickness and
smooth sawn faces are selected to be remanufactured into sidewall shingles.
Kiln drying ensures stability and reduces shrinkage after application. Re-butted
and Re-jointed means that the butts are trimmed smooth and square to the edges,
which are trimmed straight and parallel, for a tailored and consistent look.
Most R&R shingles are sold with sawn faces, but are also available sanded. Machine Grooved sidewall shakes have a split shake texture.
In applications where the shingles will be painted, a factory
applied prime gray or prime white finish is available. Contact us for more information
about factory custom paint or stain finishes. All sidewall shingles are packaged in cardboard cartons to
protect against dirt and damage.
